Go Bananas are part of the Colchester NSPCC business group, a group of 11 local companies that meet once a month and work together to raise money for the NSPCC in our local area.
As part of their mission to raise money they put on their biggest event; the annual Emerald Ball which last year raised £8,831.25 for the great cause. On the 10th November the group will be celebrating the Ball’s 5th anniversary and the group are hoping to raise even more for this great charity.
Katie said: “The last five years have been superb. I want to thank every one of my friends in the business community for caring enough to give their time and money. Money raised has already helped the Essex Young Witness Project, a service provided by the NSPCC to children having to appear in court. Very often children are scared, confused and – without the support of the NSPCC – completely alone. Help the business group fund the witness project so that it can help more children … join the business group or come to the ball”
On the 12th November a Christmas Shopping Evening will be held at Go Bananas to raise money for the charity. There will be lots of stall holders with gifts, cakes, decorations, raffle, promotions and all your Christmas needs! Refreshments will be available on site. 7.30 pm - 10.00 pm. Make sure you come along to grab a bargain!
